Tell Your Story

You deserve to be heard

Sharing stories can be a powerful healing tool for survivors. We believe that by telling and hearing stories, we can be more compassionate with ourselves and others. This is why we provide platforms to help survivors lift their voices.

If you want to share, we want to listen

Feel free to use the form below to tell your story your way, wherever you are on your journey. Sharing your experience can be challenging. Remember:

  • To be patient with yourself

  • Your experience is valid

  • You are entitled to whatever you’re feeling.

Unsure of how to begin?

Deciding what to focus on can be difficult. You can use these questions to get started:

  • Tell us about a time you felt believed and supported. How did it make you feel?

  • Tell us about a time when you didn’t feel believed. How did it make you feel?

  • Why is it important to believe survivors?

  • How did receiving a F2F Kit make you feel?

  • If you didn’t receive a F2F Kit, how would it have made you feel?

  • As a survivor, how did attending an Hour 2 Empower make you feel?

  • How have you moved forward since your sexual violence experience?

  • What has helped you move forward?

  • What hindered you from moving forward?

  • What are you still struggling with?

  • What would you want a stranger to know about sexual violence survivors?

  • Do you have a message for other survivors?

  • How has telling your story affected you?

  • How has your experience impacted those around you?(family, friends, colleagues)
